Manchester City Is Unappreciative
João Cancelo has accused Manchester City of being ungrateful and claims lies were told about him, concerning his departure from the club.
In an interview with a Portuguese sports publication, João Cancelo said these comments.
There were claims that he was a disruptive influence in the Manchester City locker room.
These were his exact words:
"I was never a horrible buddy to them, as you can ask Ake or Rico. I don't have a superiority or inferiority mentality with them.
I think Manchester City was a little ungrateful to me when they stated that, considering I was a key player for them when I was there.
I never faltered in my dedication to the club or the supporters, and I always gave all my best."
